I was hunting. I'm not very good because I am not a killer. So even though I'm a cat its verrrrryyy hard. I herd a russell. I crouched down ready to pounce. My heart throbbing, not wanting but needing. I pounced. The prey was a little field mouse. As i landed it on it, i herd a little screech. I shuddered, and let go. I was in a panic, not knowing if I had killed it. I tapped it lightly with my white paw. It twitched. I tried to help it, but it was dead. I was so sad. My stomach was growling. I needed food, but i just couldn't kill anything... Not knowing what to do, i sat down, staring at the moon. Then I felt a tap on my bony body. I whipped my head around. It was just my friend Jen. I smiled ( as much as a cat can smile). Sh laid down next to me and handed me a little piece of meat. I nuzzeled her thankfully. And ate it greedily.
